planned to achieve certain educational objectives and are made in specific
subject areas for teaching purpose.These films can be background films or
direct teaching films. They help to promote to achieve a skill an attitude or
to convey certain facts information ,phenomena or theory
DOCUMENTARY FILMS -:They are made on
specific topics/ aspects and highlight them.Documentaries which relevance to a
curriculum can be used as supplementary material for classroom teaching
DRAMATIC
FILMS -:The purpose of such films is recreational
NARRATIVE FILMS -:These films give a
sequential account of an event or series of happenings .They also provide a
story or fairly tale usually with a moral at the end
EVIDENTIAL FILMS -:These films combine instruction
with evidence .They are used to record scientific or mechanical data to study
and analysis phenomena
FACTUAL FILMS -:A nonfictional motion picture
intended to document some aspect of
reality,primarily for the purpose of instruction education or maintaining a

narrative films that integrated a larger social conflict into the individual
conflict between its characters
